How to Automatically backup my iphone camera roll into my synology NAS ?

Not opening .rar attachments from mail IOS 7.0.4

When tap .rar archive in attachment and select "Open with" DS Cloud or DS File nothing happens. App does not open. Iphone and Ipad. Fix it, please!

The best solution for making private cloud

But... Please make support for 2-factor authentication, as in other app like DS-Download or DS-File

Not working with dsm 6.0

When will you make it work with dsm 6.0 ?!

Useless

Without sub folder syncing is not usable

nice

I think it would be nice if you add a little synch icon over the preferences icon when synchronisation occurs.

Doesnt work

This requires CloudStation 2.0 beta or higher to work. Would have been nice to know that as the 2.x is beta from the 1.x which is GA. So I upgraded the package on the Diskstation to be the 2.0 Beta, upgraded the Windows clients and everything worked just fine - for windows. Thinking I had solved the problem, I tried to set up the IOS app using the Quickconnect and uid/pswd just like the windows client. I consistently got network connection errors. So I thought perhaps the quickconnect id was the wrong approach. I then tried to use the direct IP address whilst connected wirelessly to the same LAN segment. No go. still got the network connection error from the IOS device. Again - no problems with the windows client both on the LAN and across a WAN via the internet (coffee shop, etc.) They all work fine using the quickconnect ID. I was hoping that this would be a great app to use for my own personal cloud as opposed to dropbox, etc. Greatly disappointed it doesnt seem to work (or I am not configuring the IOS client correctly). I hope they fix it. Glad it was free.

Decent for a few files, horrible for multiple folders

My idea was to setup Cloud Station to replace Dropbox and use this app to access my files. Problem is that it does not do recursive syncing of sub folders which makes it pretty well useless for organization. You wind up having a folder sync list of a bunch of sub folders. For instance if you have two main folders, one titled "work" and the other "personal" and both of these have a sub folder titled "receipts" you wind up having to sync both of the receipts folders and struggle to keep them separated and organized. Shame, because it could be a good app and Dropbox replacement otherwise.

Subfolders

Do not upgrade the DS file to cloud station. It does not sync subfolders.

Very good update. It now syncs subfolders.

I gave it a poor review because of the non syncing of subfolder but with this update you can. A much needed update as the previous version was almost useless. Now, if we can get an update that will show thumbnails of images Ill give it a 5 star rating. Dan

Still has syncing issues

The iPhone app works fine. The ipad app still has issues with fully syncing all files

Fixed

Last update fixed recursive syncing. Still seems to have occasional sync problems.

Local vs Remote Isue

Maybe I did not set it right. I was hoping it can sync both when I am local on the LAN vs remote via Internet. Seems when my iPad is connected via home WiFi, I have to use local IP address. When I am away, I am to use my DNS address, each time it needs to re-sync. Not very friendly.

Great app, printing bug though

Awesome app. Seamless transfer of files from ds file to ds cloud and auto syncing is amazing. Would be 5 stars if it didnt crash when trying to air print txt files from within the app.

Crashes on launch

Need to re-install now and then since it will suddenly start crashing on launch.

Nice design. However...

I get nothing but a permission denied message regardless of which account I use, even when logged in as the account with no problems through the browser. I give it 3 for design and intent but so far its not functional for me. It doesnt crash on my 5C.

DS app needs to stop **syncing

Since DS Cloud app is intentionally designed for iphone and ipad users, I found it make no sense for this app to download(sync) the entire CloudStation folder before user can view them. DS Cloud needs to be able to just list the folder and actually download the files that user wants instead of download them all which will be an overhead to the mobile device limited storage. Other than this, this app is good.

Worked great... Now nothing.

Was a great app. Now it isnt compatible with the latest update on our cloud host. Need an updated version of app please to Match the update synology cloud for PC. Thanks!

Nice, but could be improved

I agree with other reviews. The app definitively shouldnt have to sync the data to allow access to selected files. None of the other related apps do (Dropbox, Box, Google drive, etc).

Disappointed

Doesnt work well. Syncs some files, slow, and inconsistent. Not recommended
